Academic Year 2016-17

Reviewed SEP and looked at SDP for Maths.

Bought in new resources for school ( practical / models)

Reviewed last year's data and created lines of inquiry and things to work on. Based interventions around 'catch up children'.

Attended BEP updates and mastery training. Brought Singapore Maths into school.

Each year group wrote an SDP with key maths foci.

Conducted learning walk with working wall and resource box focii.

Developed use of Blooms questioning on planning and within teaching.

INSET on reasoning / application/ white rose maths.

INSET - maths negotiable. Also shared ITAFs so all members of staff understand the bigger picture.

Reviewed last year's books and gave feed back with what needed to be addressed this year.

Ongoing book monitoring with KK throughout the year and next steps set.

Predictions set for Y4 - 6 based on KS1 data.

All ML met with link gov - briefing on maths.

Planning scrutiny twice through the year looking for Blooms and GD

2 x INSET on greater depth moderation. Y groups shared ideas and next steps.

Pupil interviews conducted in each year group on maths. Proforma notes shared.

Rounds of lesson observations in maths. AC observed two

NFER and Rising stars used as assessment.

3 rounds of continuity tests to monitor arithmetic.

End of year requests.

TA for maths set.
