Week beg 16/6/14

Mon - Day out of class for Maths.
Created continuity test assessment grids and put all the tests in for copying.
Copied and typed up ideas for Maths New Curriculum, assessment etc to present to KK and SLT.
4:00pm - Meeting with KK to share ideas


Tue - PPA
SLT meeting where I shared next steps and new ideas for Curriculum and assessment in September.


Wed -
Staff meeting on CP.
Looked at maths attainment and progress with Year 6 staff.


Weekend - Began to source maths resources to send home as summer dip homework.
Wrote memo for continuity tests.

Week Beg 9/6/14

This week was a extra-curricular week.


On Monday and Tuesday, the children made their Confirmation with Bishop Pargeter.


On Wednesday AC had  full day with CM.
Our focus was problem solving, how to adopt new assessment and medium term planning.
AC now needs to spend some time working on this to show KK and the school.


Thursday - School photos and school trip to the Symphony Hall to watch the CBSO.


Friday  - Parish Day of prayer and external Year 6 writing moderation with PB


Sunday - Parish mass led by Year 6. Confirmation certificates received.

Week beg 2nd June

Mon - Day out of class conducting a planning scrutiny. Used this to find whole school issues to act upon. These have now been given to KK and SLT to share.


Tue - Acting HT


Wed - organised transition meetings for the week.


Thur / Fri - Prepared for Confirmation including Confirmation meeting 7pm on Thursday.


Weekend - looked over agenda for CM with focus on medium term plan
