This week I have copied and given out the continuity tests for Yr 2 - 6 to be carried out next week.
I have created the assessment grids for class teacher's to fill in next week.
I have worked with MM to determine the most useful tests for the children in her group.
I have met with DM re problem solving and the best way to conduct open ended investigations with Yr 4.
I have met with Yr 6 for PPM and written up the maths interventions for Yr 6 this year.
I have set up the new interventions folder for maths this half term. All CTs are in the process of filling these in for their current classes or maths groupings.
I have begun to write an audit of maths resources and where they are currently located in the school.

Week beg 16th September

CM returned to school for a half day of support with AC.
Set agenda for inset on Monday 4th November.
Looked at staff skills audit and areas which need to be addressed.
Conducted a Maths resources audit around school.
Reviewed resources which now need to be bought ( order discussion.)
Reviewed overall findings of whole school book scrutiny ( of last year's books)
20th-22nd September -
AC created draft agenda for INSET.
AC drafted key points for staff to conduct their own book scrutiny against.
AC compared resource prices for order.
AC drafted into to afternoon session for inset ( findings from book scrutiny // how to improve marking in maths.)

9/9/13 - attended BCPP course on the new curriculum for Literacy and Maths curriculum.
10/9/13 - Spent day with CM maths consultant. Spent the morning conducting Maths learning walks and the afternoon conducting a book scrutiny and resources discussion.
12/9/13 - release time for Maths tracking analysis for last year's data.
Weekend 14-16/9/13 - Completed maths tracking analysis and continued book scrutiny for Year 3 and 5.

Introduced a subject knowledge audit for all staff to fill in.
Introduced Mad Minutes to trial over the next half term with a focus on basic skills.
Showed an example of a visual display for the number 32.
